Our Team

Alisha Dowell graduated with a bachelor's degree in criminal justice and a Master of Business Administration from Southeastern University. She started her career in financial services and compliance with the Florida Office of Financial Regulation serving as a securities examiner, trainer, data analyst and government analyst throughout her years at the Office. In her role as a Securities Examiner, Alisha was responsible for the examination of State Registered Investment Advisors and Broker-Dealers throughout the state of Florida. During her time at the Florida Office of Financial Regulation, she also specialized in coordinating statewide projects and training on complex securities topics. After the Florida Office of Financial Regulation, Alisha went on to pursue an opportunity as a Securities Examiner for the District of Columbia. Alisha joined the Key Bridge Compliance team as a Compliance Officer in October of 2019 and moved into her current role as a Chief Compliance Officer in July, 2020. Alisha is currently pursuing her Certified Fraud Examiner designation with the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. In her free time, Alisha enjoys reading, playing board games, and spending time with her husband.

Amy is a Compliance Officer and serves as Policy Counsel in Key Bridge Compliance, LLC’s Washington, DC office. In her role as Policy Counsel, Amy spearheads Key Bridge’s thought leadership and advocacy initiatives. Amy earned her Juris Doctor from the American University Washington College of Law, where she served as Senior Articles Editor for the American University Business Law Review and as a student attorney in the Civil Trial Advocacy Clinic. In 2019, Amy founded and co-chaired the first Women in Business Law Leadership conference. Amy’s compliance background is founded in her legal internships with the Investment Adviser Associationand with the Trade & Compliance department of a Fortune 200 chemical company. Prior to law school, Amy served as Business Partnerships Liaison with the World Resources Institute where she helped connect companies and investors to cutting-edge sustainable business tools. Amy is a graduate of the University of Maryland, and as a student interned with the Senate Foreign Relations Committee and House Armed Services committees.

Ashley Hatt graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Telecommunications from Ball State University. She started her careeer in investment management with Charles Schwab and Co. where she obtained securities licenses 7, 63, 9 and 10. During her time at Charles Schwab, Ashley specialized in Retirement and Estates. After Schwab, Ashley went on to pursue an opportunity in operations at an Indianapolis based RIA where she gained experience in compliance and operations, which led her to the role of Senior Securities Examiner for the State Of Indiana. In her role as a Senior Securities Examiner, Ashley was responsible for the examination of State Registered Investment Advisors throughout the state of Indiana. Ashley joined Graydon Compliance Solutions as a Compliance Officer in November of 2017 and has been serving registered investment advisors throughout the country. Ashley joined the Key Bridge Compliance team in August of 2019 and has been serving as a Chief Compliance Officer for Key Bridge Compliance since January of 2020. In her free time Ashley enjoys reading, painting and spending time with her husband, stepdaughter and their two dogs and cat.

Brian Dechow is a Compliance Intern at Key Bridge Compliance, LLC. Brian is currently completing his senior year at Xavier University, where he is working towards earning his B.S. in Business Administration. Brian serves as Chief Compliance Officer and Energy/Utilities Manager of the D’artagnan Capital Fund, a student-run, actively-managed fund. Brian is from Indianapolis, Indiana and now lives in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Carly Kleiman serves as a Compliance Officer at Key Bridge Compliance, LLC. Prior to joining Key Bridge Compliance in March of 2021, Carly worked at Western and Southern Financial Group. In her role as an Insurance Compliance Specialist there, Carly provided thorough reviews of statutory and regulatory changes, completed fifty state research and analyses, and conducted quality assurance reviews of internal policies and procedures. Before transitioning to compliance, Carly clerked for a family court judge in Owensboro, Kentucky. Carly earned a J.D. from the University of Kentucky College of Law and a B.S in Teacher Education, from Miami University. Carly is originally from Oxford, Ohio and now lives in Ft. Thomas, Kentucky.

Cheryl is a Compliance Officer at Key Bridge Compliance, with substantial financial services industry experience. Prior to joining Key Bridge in June of 2019, Cheryl worked for several years at PNC Bank, including a position within the enterprise-wide Compliance department. During the course of her employment at PNC, Cheryl gained experience with Compliance-specific regulations pertaining to multiple banking products. Prior to joining PNC, Cheryl worked as a Contract Specialist at a telecommunications company as well as at small law firms in the Pittsburgh, PA area. While at PNC, Cheryl completed the American Bankers Association Certificate in Operational Risk Management, relating to parameters for a strong banking operational risk management framework. Cheryl is currently pursuing her Investment Adviser Certified Compliance (IACCP ®) Professional designation with the NRS. Cheryl graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from Brandeis University in Waltham, MA, and with a law degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. Cheryl is admitted to the Pennsylvania bar.

Chris Payne serves as Chief Compliance Officer and Managing Director for Key Bridge Compliance. Chris has worked in the financial services industry since 2005, beginning in Operations and Trading, an experience that he leverages when working with his clients. Prior to joining Key Bridge Compliance, Chris worked for Graydon Compliance Solutions as Chief Compliance Officer and served as Compliance Officer for Matson Money, Inc. and Ameritas Investment Corp. He currently works with firms ranging anywhere from $200 to $2.5 billion AUM, assisting them in establishing institutional compliance practices and navigating complex regulatory issues. Chris earned his J.D. from the Salmon P. Chase College of Law at Northern Kentucky University, and his B.S. in Finance from Miami University of Ohio. Including being licensed to practice law in the state of Ohio, Chris earned the Investment Adviser Certified Compliance Professional (IACCP) designation co-sponsored by the Investment Adviser Association and National Regulatory Services. He also passed the Series 7, 24, 53, 63, and 66 examinations, as well as the Chartered Financial Analyst Level 1 examination. Chris lives in Cincinnati with his wife Amber and children Alaina and Ben.

Ian Meiksins joined Key Bridge Compliance shortly after its founding and has been instrumental in developing the firm’s client service model. Previously, Mr. Meiksins worked at Graydon Compliance Solutions, LLC, where he served as a Compliance Officer, Senior Compliance Officer and Chief Compliance Officer. In his role as an outsourced Chief Compliance Officer, Mr. Meiksins served Registered Investment Advisers totaling over $4 Billion in AUM. Prior to joining Graydon Compliance Solutions, Ian worked for the Human Capital Institute, an HR education and consulting Firm.  Ian has earned his IACCP® (Investment Adviser Certified Compliance Professional) certification from the National Regulatory Service and is a two-time graduate from Xavier University in Cincinnati, OH earning both a bachelor's degree and a Masters of Business Administration.

Jamie Cahal is a Compliance Officer at Key Bridge Compliance, LLC. Prior to joining Key Bridge, she served as a Compliance Officer at Graydon Compliance Solutions. She is also a member of the National Society of Compliance Professionals. Jamie is a two-time graduate from Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio earning both her B.S.B.A in Business Analytics and her Master of Business Administration. At Xavier, Jamie was a Cintas Graduate Ethics Fellow where her fellowship focused on compliance, governance and business ethics on both a national and international level.

Justine Buckingham is a Compliance Officer at Key Bridge Compliance, LLC. Prior to joining Key Bridge, Justine worked in Mergers and Acquisitions as an M&A Associate at Barnes Dennig. Justine graduated from Xavier University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in Finance and a minor in Accounting. While at Xavier University, Justine served as Chief Financial Officer of the D’Artagnan Capital Fund, a student-run actively-managed fund. Justine is from Dayton, Ohio, and now lives in Mount Lookout, Cincinnati.

Kaley joins us from Graydon Compliance Solutions, LLC as a Compliance Officer at Key Bridge Compliance. Kaley has previously spent time in various operations and investment-related roles with Broker-dealers and RIAs. Prior to joining Graydon Compliance Solutions, Kaley worked supporting Financial Advisors at several different Broker-Dealers and Registered Investment Advisers, including Fidelity, TIAA-Cref and RW Baird, where she obtained the series 7, 63, & 66 licenses. In her various roles, Kaley oversaw the client/advisor relationship, managing operations, trading and client communications. After joining Graydon Compliance Solutions in 2018, Kaley has been working with investment advisors compliance programs, primarily responsible for the day-to-day operations of clients compliance programs. Kaley graduated from the University of Kentucky in 2011 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Marketing. Kaley resides in Northern Kentucky with her husband, Kevin, along with their two young sons and golden retriever.

Matt serves as the Director of Key Bridge Insurance Services, the insurance affiliate of Key Bridge Compliance. In this role, Matt has the ability to do what he enjoys most - help advisors implement tailored solutions for their clients. Matt has over a decade of experience in the insurance industry. Most recently, Matt led the insurance services division of a large wealth management firm in the greater Cincinnati area. Matt has also gained insurance experience in roles at Nationwide and NFP. Matt graduated from The University of Dayton with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. Matt lives in the Columbia Tusculum neighborhood of Cincinnati, Ohio. In his free time, he enjoys golf, cycling, and spending time with friends and family.

Matt began his investment management career in 1996 with a predecessor of Citi Fund Services, where he worked in the transfer agent and legal and compliance department for a large third-party mutual fund administrator. Thereafter, he served as counsel to Conseco Capital Management, a multi-billion dollar institutional investment management firm located in Carmel, IN. In 2002, Matt joined The Phoenix Companies in Hartford, CT, where he ultimately served as Chief Legal Officer and Secretary for the Phoenix (now Virtus) mutual fund complex. During his time at Phoenix, Matt earned the CLU and ChFC designations from The American College. Matt later served as an investment management associate in the Washington, DC office of K&L Gates, an international law firm. In 2006, he joined Fifth Third Bank in Cincinnati, OH, where he served as the Chief Administrative Officer for Fifth Third’s institutional investment management business. In addition to these responsibilities, Matt provided legal support to Fifth Third’s broker-dealer, insurance and custody operations. He also served as Secretary and Chief Legal Officer to the Fifth Third Funds, a mutual fund trust with twenty-four series. While at Fifth Third, Matt earned his CFA charter. Following a stint as COO to a $500 million Cincinnati-based registered investment adviser, Matt founded Graydon Compliance Solutions, LLC, an outsourced compliance consultancy offering services to RIAs across the United States and in the United Kingdom. Matt is the Chief Executive Officer of Key Bridge Compliance, LLC and is co-founder and Chairman of F/m Acceleration LLC, a back and middle office solution provider for registered investment advisers, including its subsidiary adviser, F/m Investments. F/m Acceleration is backed by private equity investor 4100 Group. Matt has earned his BA in Political Science, as well as his JD, from The Ohio State University. While in law school, he attended the Oxford University Summer Program, and has also earned his LLM in Insurance Law from the University of Connecticut.

Morgan Grace began working with Key Bridge Compliance in December 2019 as the Content Marketing Coordinator. Morgan Grace is primarily responsible for overseeing the creation and editing of all content for Key Bridge Compliance. Morgan Grace previously worked with Graydon Compliance Solutions where she provided outsourced compliance support to Registered Investment Advisors with a combined AUM of over $7 Billion. After Graydon Compliance Solutions, Morgan Grace worked for an RIA based in Cincinnati, providing marketing and compliance support. Morgan Grace also works as a freelance writer, where she writes and edits a variety of financial and marketing materials. Morgan Grace earned her B.A. in English, Advertising and Spanish from the University of Southern Mississippi in 2016. Morgan Grace has earned her IACCP® (Investment Adviser Certified Compliance Professional) certification from the National Regulatory Service.

Roseann Higgins serves as a Senior Compliance Officer for Key Bridge Compliance. Roseann has spent over 25 years in the financial services industry. Over the course of her career, Roseann served in roles relating to FINRA compliance, corporate compliance, and compliance for Registered Investment Advisers, as well as working in Human Resources. Prior to joining Key Bridge Compliance, Roseann served as a Compliance Officer at Matson Money. She worked to ensure the effective administration of the firm’s compliance program and to build strong, personal relationships with the firm’s clients. Roseann’s experience extends beyond investment compliance. Before joining Matson Money, Roseann served as the Director of Compliance and Human Resources at NCP Finance in Dayton, Ohio. There she focused on all aspects of banking and lending compliance. Roseann earned a B.S. in Business Administration from Xavier University. She also earned the Project Management Certification from the Xavier Center for Executive Leadership. Roseann has two grown children and lives in Cincinnati, Ohio with her husband and Norman the Rottweiler.

Tia Fitzgerald-Jones is a Compliance Analyst in Key Bridge Compliance, LLC’s Washington, D.C. office. Prior to joining Key Bridge, Tia interned at the Legal Services Corporation in the Office of Compliance and Enforcement. Tia graduated from the University of the District of Columbia with a B.A. in Political Science. As a student, Tia served as a Judicial Affairs Student Representative and Student Activities Administrative Assistant. Tia has also earned a paralegal certificate.

Alex is a Partner of Key Bridge Compliance and Financial Services Industry Veteran. Alexander Morris was one of the founding principals of Vestmark Advisory Solutions, Inc. (VAS), a subsidiary of Vestmark, Inc., a technology services provider to advisory firms with combined AUM in excess of $1.3 Trillion. VAS is an SEC registered investment adviser that connects Vestmark advisers with investment strategies provided by more than 120 asset management firms. Prior to his role at Vestmark, Mr. Morris served as VP of Strategy and Platforms for Fortigent, an investment research and technology firm servicing financial advisory practices. In this role, Mr. Morris incepted, built and ran Fortigent’s wealth management platform, the first of its kind to service the unique needs of high net worth advisors and their clients. Prior to joining Fortigent, Mr. Morris served in a number of strategic roles within leading financial services firms globally. He earned a Bachelor of Sciences degree in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from Cornell University.

David Littleton is an attorney and a veteran of the financial services industry. Highlights from Mr. Littleton’s career include: Chief Compliance Officer and co-founder of Vestmark Advisory Solutions, Inc. (VAS), a subsidiary of Vestmark, Inc., a technology services provider to advisory firms with combined AUM in excess of $1.3 Trillion. VAS is an SEC registered investment adviser that connects Vestmark advisers with investment strategies provided by more than 120 asset management firms. Chief Financial Officer of Fortigent, Inc., an SEC registered RIA providing technology and investment research to independent financial advisory practices with over $80 Billion of assets under administration. Mr. Littleton’s duties at Fortigent included hiring and supervising the Chief Compliance Officer and taking ultimate responsibility for Fortigent’s regulatory compliance program. Fortigent was acquired in 2012 by LPL Investment Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ: LPLA). Chief Operating Officer of Nylon Capital LLP, a UK-based fund manager with AUM over $1Billion, backed by Barclays Bank PLC. As COO, Mr, Littleton was responsible for the firm’s regulatory compliance. Associate Attorney with the Los Angeles and Washington, D.C. offices of Hogan & Hartson LLP (now Hogan Lovells). Mr. Littleton earned a Bachelor of Sciences degree in Accounting from the University of Maryland, a Master of Sciences degree from Georgetown University, and a Juris Doctor (with Honors) from the University of Maryland School of Law. He is a Certified Public Accountant (inactive) and a member of the state bars of California, Maryland and Washington, DC.
